Biography

Louis J. Macloskey founded Financial Planning Investment Group in 1979. He graduated from the University of Florida in 1969 with a business degree in marketing and economics.

After college, he entered the life insurance industry and earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, in 1976.

With a desire to expand into securities and investments, he continued his education and earned his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation from The American College in 1982. In 1995, Mr. Macloskey earned his Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation.

Louis specialized in estate planning and believed the most important part of estate and financial planning was treating people as you would your own family. He worked diligently to help ensure that legacies could continue for his clients’ future generations.

That legacy continues here today. We remain committed to helping others achieve their goals and, most importantly, to treating every client like family.
